Hope Perches in the Soul

Hello Friends,

Today I have a little bird mixed media piece that I made into a card. The background is water colours, the gold 'frame' is mica powder/varnish and the bird is chipboard. I used the pieces that punched out from a bird stencil.
I added a sprig of cherries with Liquid Pearls and a black Sharpie to go along with the CAS challenge at my favourite place to play - The Outlawz.
I used this beautiful Emily Dickinson quote by DeeDee's Digis. I won a gift certificate to Dee's shop recently by playing in the Path of Positivity Challenge - another favourite place to play.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope you are off to a good start to a great week.

Hugs & smiles,
Teresa

What an absolutely charming card! I am so drawn to those fabulous blended colors in the background. It gives the whole piece such a great sense of movement and energy. I also really like how you left more blue around the bird itself and it all pairs beautifully with the gold frame. Really lovely piece here and it shows off your watercoloring skills! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
