Christmas in July - a little late

Hello Peeps,

I finally fulfilled my commitment for the July Christmas club at the "Lady Anne's Friends" group at Paper Digital Art and Images by Kim.

The technique I used is called, "Embossing x2". After watching Gina's video at Stamp TV, I dove right in to try the technique.

If you are a regular follower you know I love to use my paper scraps. My 'frame' was made by layering two die cut negatives - a circle and a larger scalloped circle. The circle negative was white cardstock; the scalloped circle was fuchsia. I used my SU poinsettia embossing folder with VersaMark ink and then heat-embossed with SU Cherry Cobbler embossing powder. I stamped "Noel" on burgundy cardstock with VersaMark and heat-embossed with gold. I centered my embossed frame over the bobble and adhered, drawing a hanging loop at the top.
I added photo corners to the embossed piece and traced around it with a gold pen.
A white gel pen accents the letters and black marker around the bobble.
This sentiment is another paper scrap, accented with paper flowers.
The inside employs two more paper scraps.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are enjoying your August so far.

Blessing hugs,
Teresa
